Chocolate stars – A perfect treat
For the chocolate stars, melt chocolate in a double boiler on low until the chocolate melts. Next, pour the chocolate into the star mold. A perfect dessert to satisfy every sweet tooth and is guaranteed to be a crowd favorite.
Speaking of chocolate, my dessert charcuterie board was a huge hit at my last party. It’s always a good option to serve chocolate anything.

Patriotic tablescape
Once I was done deciding what desserts I’d be serving, I wanted to get my home decorated for the summer holidays. Using a few white magnolia stems and geraniums I was able to make this pretty new porch door wreath in no time. It was the perfect way to coordinate my outdoor decor with an indoor tabletop and red and white checked table runner.
For patriotic holidays I love a layered look. Lots of pop and lots of color. I’ve added gold chargers, white dishes, and then these gorgeous blue and white dessert dishes for this patriotic occasion. Add a festive dessert and the only thing you’ll need to do is enjoy your backyard bbq.
The next step was to add crystal goblets, cloth napkins, fresh florals, or in this case two geranium potted plants, and a fun strand of paper stars strung from the chandelier! Banners are an easy way to create a party atmosphere whether indoors or on your backyard patio
Lastly, I’ve joined up with two of my best blogging friends. Wendy from WM Design House is sharing her idea on a simple and easy memorial day patriotic party, and Missy from Sonata Home Design talks about tablescapes that have you covered. Be sure to check out their gorgeous patriotic party ideas.
I hope you enjoyed these easy 4th of July dessert ideas and bonus home decorating table tips.
Wishing you and your family a happy, healthy holiday!
