Unveiling the Essence of Italian Flavors
The key and essence of having the best Italian flavors is using quality ingredients and fresh herbs in your Italian frittata. Your potato frittata should have the best Yukon gold potatoes, fresh large eggs, and even a small amount of locally made goat cheese for added flavor.
A Culinary Trip Down Memory Lane
From my years growing up with an Italian mom and grandma, if there was one thing I learned from them it was that spice and flavor are everything. Flashback to the days I’d walk into my grandmother’s kitchen and the aroma was far better than any perfume that ever was invented. Tucked away in her worn and much-loved apron pocket were always, and I mean always fresh basil leaves. Add to that some garlic powder and that was her scent. To this day, I cannot smell basil without thinking of the fondest memories of her.
